Made using molds, its main raw materials are quartz sand and alkali and other auxiliary materials. After melting above 1200°C high temperature, it is produced in different shapes by high temperature molding according to the mold shape. Non-toxic and odorless. Suitable for cosmetics, food, medicine and other industries.
Classification – Classified by Manufacturing Process
Semi-automatic production – Hand-made bottles – (Basically eliminated)
Fully automatic production – Mechanical bottles
Usage Classification – Cosmetics Industry
· Skin care – Essential oils, essences, creams, lotions, etc.
· Fragrance – Home fragrances, car perfumes, body perfumes, etc.
· Nail polish
Regarding Shape – We categorize bottles into round, square, and irregular shapes based on the bottle shape.
Round Bottles – Rounds include all circular and straight circular shapes.
Square Bottles – Square bottles have a slightly lower yield rate in production compared to round bottles.
Irregular Bottles – Shapes other than round and square are collectively referred to as irregular bottles.
Regarding Appearance – Some commonly used terms to describe appearance:
Cat Paw Prints – Elongated strips, no tactile feel, more noticeable when frosted.
Bubbles – Distinct bubbles and subtle bubbles, distinct bubbles float on the surface and easily burst, subtle bubbles are inside the bottle body.
Wrinkles – Small irregular undulating lines appear on the bottle surface.
Parting Line – All molded bottles have parting lines because of the opening/closing mold.
Bottom – Bottle bottom thickness is generally between 5-15mm, commonly flat or U-shaped.
Anti-slip Lines – Anti-slip line shapes are not standardized, each design is different.
Locating Points – Locating points designed on the bottle bottom facilitate controlling the position of downstream printing processes.
Regarding Naming – The industry has unanimously formed a tacit understanding for naming molded bottles, with the following conventions:
Example: 15ml+Transparent+Straight Round+Essence Bottle
Capacity+Color+Shape+Function
Capacity Description: The bottle’s capacity, units are “ml” and “g”, lowercase.
Color Description: The original color of the clear bottle.
Shape Description: The most intuitive shape, such as straight round, oval, sloping shoulder, round shoulder, arc, etc.
Function Description: Described according to usage categories, such as essential oil, essence, lotion (cream bottles are in units of g), etc.
15ML Transparent Essential Oil Bottle – Essential oil bottles have formed an inherent shape in the industry, so the shape description is omitted from the name.
Example: 30ml+Tea Color+Essential Oil Bottle
Capacity+Color+Function
